In this video, I want to talk to you about the fiber myth. You may have heard that dietary fiber is really good for you and that it can help decrease your risk of colon cancer.

This fiber myth is entirely false. In fact, there isn’t a shred of research that connects the two. On the contrary, some research even shows that fiber can increase your risk of colon cancer.

Why is that? Because the truth about fiber is that it actually irritates the intestines. Do you or someone you know have a stomach that looks like a basketball? Maybe it sticks straight out. Though this can happen if you have too much belly fat, it can also be caused by bloating due to too much fiber.

I recommend that you steer clear of excessive fiber like in cereal, bran, and other whole-grain fiber. You may even need to stay away from some vegetable fiber if you have a sensitivity. I, for instance, have a sensitivity to the fiber in broccoli. Many cruciferous vegetables can have this effect on people. This is often because you haven’t built up the right gut microbes to break down these kinds of vegetable fibers. In this case, I recommend you take a good probiotic supplement.

Simmer the cauliflower in a tightly covered pot with chicken broth and chopped onion. By knowing your goals they will not give you fattening foods that they normally would. The healthy diet plan for men will always include variety.

When you think about healthy eating you think about fresh foods and portion control and while those are big parts of healthy eating there are other things to take into consideration as well.

When it comes to nutrition, dessert can be one of the hardest meals, but a lot of people forget about fruit, which makes for a healthy and smart dessert choice. If fruits aren’t your thing, try making it into a smoothie or making fruit muffins or even try something like sherbet to satisfy your sweet craving without sacrificing nutrition.

With a toxic liver, the body may display belly fat, a protuberant abdomen, and/or a roll of fat around the upper abdomen. A toxic liver loses its ability to eliminate chylomicron remnants. This results in fatty deposits under the skin leading to cellulitus. Chylomicrons are small fat globules that help transport fat after digestion from the small intestine to tissues in the body. Abdominal fat increases until liver function is improved. So, detox your liver for weight loss. Turn it back into the fat metabolizing and toxin eliminating power house burning fat 24/7.

Work Out: One of the best things for a healthy diet is being active. The more you become active and the longer you do whatever it is you are doing, you can increase the intensity of the workout to reap the benefits even more. To start, it is recommended that you try and workout 30 minutes every day to maintain a healthy diet and stay fit.

Let’s say, for example, that your doctor has told you you are at risk for diabetes as a result of extra weight. So, your doctor may put you on the “diabetes diet” to help you lose that weight. It’s a little difficult at first to follow a diet in order to lose weight — and in fact it can be really, really easy to do things wrong. For example, maybe you think just one little bag of potato chips won’t hurt, or that you can have just one treat. Or, maybe you think that what should be a half a cup of rice is a little too small, so you increase it to a cup.

Vegetarian diet might do your pet a world of good: Like human being placing your dog on vegetarian diet will do it a lot of good. That way all the harmful effects of carbohydrates, fats and even protein would be avoided therefore making it healthier.

All of these aspects of your general fitness, of course, can be broken down even more. It’s important to focus on each one of these and try to develop each of them. If you can do that, you’re well on your way to improving your overall fitness.

You should create some foundational knowledge about the properties of food and what offers nutritional value. These are very important for sustained energy, good carbohydrates, and regularity. Thus, eating at home will save you a lot of money.
