Weight Loss Nutrition – Get Healthy As You Diet

The one time food is not available at the appointed time a person will feel like they will starve. Fad diets that take things to extreme limits to lose weight, and limit your food, could be hazardous to your health.

When it comes to losing weight, you can do it in many ways, but some of them are unhealthy. This has been a problem for many around the globe. Although “quick weight loss” is certainly possible (and many diet plans focus on this), it’s much more important that a diet plan be effective and healthy at the same time. You need a healthy diet plan if you want healthy weight loss. You won’t necessarily lose weight quickly, but you’ll get results that are lasting, and you won’t have unhealthy side effects.

Proper nutrition means eating foods that are high in calcium. Dairy products, leafy greens, beans, soy milk, sardines, and nuts are examples of such foods. Your teeth and bones will need calcium to be healthy. Osteoporosis is often linked to a calcium deficiency, which is another reason to make sure you take in plenty of calcium. This is a very painful disease that causes your bones to become soft.

In this way, weight loss diets cause damage to your body composition and consequently to your health! Despite scientists reporting this in 2002, it took until 2011 for this to hit our mainstream headlines. Since then well-known branded diets have continually failed to respond, and the same problems are still being perpetuated.

It made a great deal of sense to me when he explained that the great apes, our close relatives, eat about 16 pounds of green leaves a day, and have 3% body fat and no coronary artery disease and no heart disease and no arthritis and no diabetes. Obviously this is a heart healthy diet.

Very low, controlled calorie intake: Most raw fruits and vegetables, have a very low number of calories, relative to their size. Because of this, people on this diet, may eat huge amounts of raw-food and still not consume a very large number of calories. This is the biggest advantage of the raw-food diet plan over all the other diets. No starving, no cravings, no constant hunger battle & you still get results! This is the reason why its an easy diet plan to follow & leads to fast weight loss. But wait, there is more…

One food solves all – a promise that eating a single food (watermelon, cabbage soup, grapefruit) can help you drop weight. Not so. Extreme short-term diets set you up to fail… to be super hungry and then binge. Cutting out entire food groups also leaves you open to nutritional shortfalls, unpleasant side effects, not to mention boredom. You’re going to start craving the foods you’re leaving out. If it sounds too good to be true, it is. Weight loss of a half to a pound a week, by eating a well-rounded diet, is what you’re after.

Don’t simply utilize nutrition as an afterthought to your program. Employ nutrition as an integral part of your efforts and you will progress your overall training to even higher levels.

Your teeth and bones will need calcium to be healthy. Just follow the 5 a day concept whether you want to lose weight or not and live a healthy lifestyle. Choosing to eat right is a big step for some who are used to a rather unhealthy lifestyle.
