In this video, we talk about hypertension and blood pressure. I want to talk with you about the function of Vitamin K2 and D3 and how it helped lower this client’s blood pressure with the help of his doctor.

I teamed up with this client’s physician to provide nutritional support. His doctor was then able to take him off of high blood pressure medication because his blood pressure levels normalized.

Now, we are going to answer once and for all what is a healthy diet and what is it composed of. Today I’m going to talk about something that may tick a lot of people off. When you eat healthy foods, your metabolism mechanism would work well.

Nutrition…..When first starting out with a program such as P90x, Insanity, Turbo Fire or any other top sellers at Beachbody, the one thing that people always seem to struggle with is nutrition. Nutrition is the key to getting absolutely GREAT results. One thing that the people who got the best results from these programs have in common is that they had their nutrition locked down and they NEVER had a cheat meal during their 60 or 90 day challenge.

When it comes to nutrition, dessert can be one of the hardest meals, but a lot of people forget about fruit, which makes for a healthy and smart dessert choice. If fruits aren’t your thing, try making it into a smoothie or making fruit muffins or even try something like sherbet to satisfy your sweet craving without sacrificing nutrition.

Fat is not all bad, but is not all good either. Fat is needed by the body because it is what the body burns when it is put through stress and work. It is unhealthy for either a man or a woman to have 0% body fat; what would his or her body have to burn then? In the absence of fat, the body eats other parts of itself like muscle, which is more on weight loss already. The normal fat percentage men should have is between 12 to about 20 percent; women should have significantly more, around 15 to about 25 percent, since they would need extra fat for when they get pregnant.

It made a great deal of sense to me when he explained that the great apes, our close relatives, eat about 16 pounds of green leaves a day, and have 3% body fat and no coronary artery disease and no heart disease and no arthritis and no diabetes. Obviously this is a heart healthy diet.

All of these aspects of your general fitness, of course, can be broken down even more. It’s important to focus on each one of these and try to develop each of them. If you can do that, you’re well on your way to improving your overall fitness.
