Nutrition…..When first starting out with a program such as P90x, Insanity, Turbo Fire or any other top sellers at Beachbody, the one thing that people always seem to struggle with is nutrition. Nutrition is the key to getting absolutely GREAT results. One thing that the people who got the best results from these programs have in common is that they had their nutrition locked down and they NEVER had a cheat meal during their 60 or 90 day challenge.

According to the National Health and nutrition Examination Survey, 70 percent of Americans are overweight. This, for the most part, is because fat people have dirty livers. Let me explain. The liver is ‘the’ key player in fat metabolism and toxin breakdown. Overtime, livers are bombarded with chemicals and hormones from the food we eat. Livers are designed to quickly and easily get rid of these harmful toxins, but without rest and proper nutrition, livers become overworked and begin to fail at their key functions. Livers no longer work properly to metabolize fat and breakdown toxins. So fat people usually have livers that are dirty with toxins. A toxic liver has problems burning fat and even increases the amount of fat in your body. This is why the liver must be detoxed for weight loss.

weight loss has become a very “fashionable” movement and so many commercial weight loss program clinics compete with each other promising a trim physique in an unbelievably short time – crash programs that really do not care about your heath even as they profess to, but are actually setting their sights on the dollars you will pay them for the program. Don’t simply utilize nutrition as an afterthought to your program. Employ nutrition as an integral part of your efforts and you will progress your overall training to even higher levels.
