In this video, I explain simply, but from a scientific standpoint, why this is. We should NOT be afraid of carbs! I eat a high-carb diet and I am not obese. Carbs are not naturally stored as fat. There are processes such as dietary thermogenesis and glycogen storage that are done BEFORE we store carbs as fat. As it turns out, fat is stored as fat.
