I’m uploading this video on day 11 of the Slow Carb Diet, but, by day 2, I already faced a huge mental sticking point. I knew prior to starting, that not drinking calories, and especially, sweet drinks, was going to be a huge challenge for me because of the multiple sugary drinks I was used to having every day. After a few days of experimentation, I’ve found, at least for me, the best drinks for weight loss on the slow carb diet… necessary for me, since I’m trying to figure out how to lose weight fast.

In short, rule 3 of the slow carb diet, is to not drink any calories and it became clear, very quickly, that in order for me to have a chance at following through, I’d have to come up with the best drinks that are compliant to the rules of the diet, while promoting, or at least, not getting in the way of, weight loss.
I’m happy to say, that I started having these drinks consistently starting on day 3, and now, at day 11, there’s been absolutely zero negative or stalling effect on consistent weight loss and body fat loss, demonstrated in my daily morning weigh-in on my smart scale.
An added benefit to both the Ginger Water (my absolute favourite is a 1:1 ratio of Ginger Water and sparkling mineral water (I use San Pellegrino, but any will do). I don’t know what the science is, but it legitimately also has a tinge of sweetness, despite having zero sugar. It’s important to note that the mineral water, has some sodium from the minerals which gives it a completely different taste from say, club soda.
It’s been a life saver to find a few slow carb diet compliant options that at worst, are neutral to progress, and at best, are aiding in fat loss. I hope you get value out of these, because to me, they are genuinely the best drinks for weight loss that I’ve found.
