(Oh, I can hang with the best of them, but I choose not to) Of course, I enjoy talking about fitness/nutrition, and I always can (and will), but for the people that don’t know what to do to start off with, getting to involved and in depth may just shy them away from being healthy, which is something NOBODY in this industry wants, right?

Grapefruit Diet: This diet has been around since the 1930s and is still going strong. This fast weight loss method is meant to be used for 12 days. This diet is very restrictive, if food isn’t allotted in the diet it isn’t allowed at all. This is a diet that said to help you lose weight through the ingestion of the unsweetened grapefruit juice. The truth is that you reduced calorie intake and this will encourage weight loss. There isn’t a specific reason the grapefruit works other than it is a extremely nutritious and a low-calorie fruit.

Physical activity: You cannot lose weight and remain healthy without exercising. The amount of physical activity you do should start out small and gradually increase as you build up endurance. Exercise and a proper meal plan are the keys to success for a healthy diet.

Very low, controlled calorie intake: Most raw fruits and vegetables, have a very low number of calories, relative to their size. Because of this, people on this diet, may eat huge amounts of raw-food and still not consume a very large number of calories. This is the biggest advantage of the raw-food diet plan over all the other diets. No starving, no cravings, no constant hunger battle & you still get results! This is the reason why its an easy diet plan to follow & leads to fast weight loss. But wait, there is more…

I’m not saying this mixing thing is what you SHOULD do, I’m just saying it’s fun and you’ll be surprised at what you may find and how you start feeling.

Deciding to go on a diet to lose weight safely and quickly and in a healthy manner is not a decision that you should take lightly. Prepare yourself for each stage of the diet: the before, the during, and the after and you will maximize your chances for success.

Only then will one be able to know that they have complete nutrition. As for protein, you definitely need at least 50 grams of protein each day in your balanced healthy diet. Motivate yourself by checking your progress weekly.
